ACM Women's Chapter (ACM-W)
ACM-W members participated in the She++ Gala, an evening encouraging diversity in technology at the Computer History Museum.
At one of ACM-W's many events in their "My Story Series," a panel of SCU alumnae shared their experiences in industry with current students.
ACM-W at The Grace Hopper Celebration 2023, a conference for women in computing where they got to meet industry professionals, talk to recruiters, and learn about how to navigate the world of tech.
ACM-W members join together for their annual Day of the Tech Girl meeting to educate members about minorities in technology and share experiences from the Grace Hopper Celebration.
ACM-W Board during Hack for Humanity 2024 in the Sobrato Campus for Innovation and Discovery.
ACM-W hosted a sign painting party the day before the San Jose Women's March. The next day, the club participated in the march itself to promote women in STEM.
ACM-W’s Quarterly Cyber Sisters meeting, where women in computing can sign up to be mentors or mentees and become connected with other women in CS on campus. This is one of our most popular and fun events and really represents what ACM-W is all about.
Machine Learning Workshop hosted by ACM-W and AI Collaborate where we coded in Python as our members followed along on their computer screens.
ACM-W advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field, providing a wide range of programs and services to ACM members and working in the larger community to advance the contributions of technical women. ACM-W warmly welcomes the participation of all individuals who are interested in advancing ACM’s mission and core values.
